Street Dawah at Yeswantpur

SIO Yeswantpur conducted street Dawah at JP Park near Chowdeshwari bus stand on 18th May Sunday. The program received good response especially from the youngsters who had been to the park for morning walk. Two English Copies of the Holy Quran was also gifted. Most of the youngsters appreciated the effort and opined that such programs would help us know each other and would bring us closer. A total of 100+ people received the message through pamphlets, books and personal discussions.

Summer Camp-Frazer Town-Bangalore East Unit

Bangalore East Unit organized a Summer Islamic Camp at Zenith Academy, Frazer Town from 14th April to 4th May for kids of 9-16 Years. Alhamdulillah the camp witnessed consistent presence of 30 kids. The camp was divided into 3 sessions, First comprising of Imparting Islamic Values and knowledge like Basics of Ismal, Respecting Parents, Lessons from Life of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH), Sacrifices of Sahaba, DO's and Dont's of Muslim, Impact of Western Culture etc. Sessions were taken by various members and associates and Jb Asif Sb. The Second session usually was a mental activity to nurture mental skills of kids like Essays, Speech, Collage etc. "All work and no play makes jack a lazy boy ", hence the final session was designed to be physical activity with many games like balancing stick, blind fold, water in bucket etc. The Camp ended with Valedictory program at BIFT on 4th May from 4pm-5.30pm amidst honored presence of Jb Waheeduddin Khan Sb(Ameer-eMuqa

Summer Camp-Shampur Circle-Bangalore East Unit

SIO Bangalore East Unit, Shampur Circle alhamdulillah had Organized a Summer Islamic Camp for the children of 9 years to 14 years. The camp started on 18th April and the Valedictory Program marked its end on 28th April 2014 and was organized at New Orchard Public School, Govindpur . The Camp had 15 Students and had a lot of learning and fun filled educative activities. During the course of camp students learned about Basics of Islam, Respecting elders, Life of Prophet Mohammed(PBUH) and lessons from his life etc. Students were taught spirit of togetherness and co-ordination of a team via various fun filled individual and fun filled activities. Prizes were distributed to winners of all competitions and participants on valedictory day.

Summer Camp at HAL Circle-Bangalore East

SIO Bangalore East, HAL Circle organized a Islamic Summer Camp at Masjid-e-Rizwan, HAL from 18th April 2014 to 26th April 2014. As many as 16 students of the age group 9 to 16yrs attended and gained knowledge about various fundamental aspects of Islam. Everyday routine included one Knowledge session, followed by an activity session which was meant for skills development, followed by Games session to imbibe the right morals even in something as trivial as a game and ended with Memorizing of Duas. Knowledge sessions included Fundamentals of Islam, Life of Prophet Muhammad(SAW), Do's and Dont's of Muslim, Demonstration of Wuzhu, Explanation of the Procedure Ghusl, Salah etc. Videos inspiring students to behave well, avoid backbiting etc were also displayed when time permitted. Events such as Qirat Competition, Creative Story Telling, Puzzle Solving and Memory Test brought out the best amongst students. The Summer Camp ended with a test on the last day and a trip to J

Summer camp by Jayanagar Unit

Summer Islamic Camp at Al-Ameen International Residential School SIO Jayanagar Unit conducted a Summer Islamic Camp from 26 th April 2014 to 30 th April 2014 at Al-Ameen International Residential School – Hoskote. The camp was conducted with an objective to imbibe the true spirit of Islam among the students and make them responsible people of the Muslim Ummah. The camp featured talks, quiz, team building games, competition, Islamic videos, camp fire and much more. Janab Tawab Chowdhury, Janab Asif Jagirdar, Br. Sadat Kahlifa, Br. Ethesham, Br. Mazhar Yahya, Br. Tahir, Br. Musaib and Br. Syed Kazim addressed the students. All the students fully enjoyed every aspect of the camp. Around 50 students participated in the camp various parts of Bangalore.     

Summer Camp at Yeswantpur for students above grade 8

As per the annual plan, the unit had planned to conduct a summer camp for the best utilization of summer vacations to nourish the skills of students in various aspects, and a major source for the organization to generate new associates and Islamic Children Circle. As per the annual plan, Yeswantpur unit had planned to conduct a summer camp for the best utilization of summer vacations to nourish the skills of students in various aspects, and a major source for the organization to generate new associates and Islamic Children Circle. Release of Tazkiya Guide in English

Students Islamic Organisation of India – Bangalore City, released the Tazkiya Guide in English on 27 th April 2014. The booklet is a 29 pages document which covers various aspects of Tazkiya. The Tazkiya Guide was released by Janab Atharullah Shareef (Ameer-e-Halqa – JIH Karnataka). Janab Sheik Haroon (Ameer-e-Mukhami – JIH Bangalore North), Br. Syed Kazim (President – SIO Bangalore), Br. Ammar Mansoor (PR Secretary), Br. Ashfaq Ahmed (Unit President – Shivaji Nagar), Br. Akheel (Unit President – BTM Unit), Br. Shujath (Unit President – Yeshwanthpur Unit) and Br. Mudassir (Unit President – Bangalore East Unit) were also present during the release. Br. Syed Kazim in his concluding speech, urged the members to read the follow the Tazkiya Guide religiously. 

City Level Tarbiyati Program

The Tarbiyati Program was conducted on 27 th April 2014 from 9 am to 5 pm at Masjid-e-Saad bin Abi Waqas at RT Nagar. The theme of the Tarbiyati Program was based on Islamic Movement. The program featured talks on ‘Introduction to Islamic Movement’ and ‘Challenges before Islamic Movement’ by Janab Atharullah Shareef (Ameer-e-Halqa – JIH Karnataka). The talks were followed by distribution of membership awards to Br. Adial Hasan, Br. Fazil Ahmed, Br. Syed Mujahid and Br. Shayan.   The post lunch session began with a case study on ‘The Leadership of Abubakar (ra)’ which was followed by a talk on ‘Najmuddin Erbakan’ by Janab Syed Tanveer Ahmed (ZAC Member – JIH Karnataka). The program concluded by a speech by Br. Syed Kazim (President – SIO Bangalore). More than 50 people attended the program.
