Coming soon - "Media and Terror | Facts and Fiction"

For a long time now, the Government, the accused, and the society have been victims – each in a different way – of irresponsible, unwarranted and hyped coverage provided by media houses while reporting terror related incidents. Empirical data, as documented in this book, with respect to a single terror case suggests that the above claim is not far fetched. After documenting, compiling and analysing newspaper articles – published in 12 leading English and Kannada dailies – related to the infamous ‘Karnataka Terror Module’ that witnessed the arrests of a journalist, a DRDO researcher and many others, the book ‘Media and Terror | Facts and Fiction’ aims to highlight the language which media houses ubiquitously adopt when it comes to reporting terror cases. While doing so, the book also tries to pluck the chords that lie at the core of this phenomenon. This endeavor shall remind the ones who keep a watch over society, that they will not go unchecked.

Ramadan teaches us to be thankful for the countless bounties of Allah and also gives us the message that we should stand ready to sacrifice our desires on the command of Allah.
