SIO BTM unit had organised a summer camp for the children of Tavarkere area. As part of the camp, we organised a street play to create awareness about the education. The event started with a small rally around the streets of Tavarkere, inviting people to watch the play and then children played the skit at 2 places which conveyed the message that education is every child's right and he should not be forced to child labor.

SIO Bangalore City conducted a Press Conference at the Bangalore Press Club on 26 th March 2014 in connection with release of Students Manifesto. Mr. Ammar Mansoor (PR Secretary – Bangalore) and Mr. Hannan (Member – SIO) addressed the Media. They presented the points which were mentioned in the Manifesto. All the points in the Manifesto were relating to the field of education. The session was followed by Q&A by reporters from various media. The press conference was also telecasted by ETV Urdu. Mr. Yaser Pasha (Member of SIO) was also present.
