The program began with the recitation of Quran and a Tarana by Br. Adnan and Br. Mujahid respectively. Janab Ameenul Hasan spoke on the history of SIO and how it all began. Four participants also presented books revises. The session was followed by talk on ‘Creations of Allah’. All the participants spoke about their future plans, as to what will be their individual contribution to the society. The program concluded with the distribution of appreciation awards to Br. Hamid, Br. Adnan, Br. Shayan, Br. Aftab, Br. Mazhar and Br. Yusuf. 25 people attended the program.

A public program on the theme “Youth against Pornography” was conducted at HAL. The program began with the recitation of the Quran by Br. Adnan followed by a talk by Br. Syed Kazim who introduced the campaign to the audience. The program was followed by talk by Dr. Belgami Mohammed Saad (Secretary – JIH Karnataka) who addressed the issue from various aspects. Ms. Shalini Gambhir (Youth Consultant) also spoke on the occasion and addressed the issue from the psychological aspect.  The program concluded with a question and answer session. More than 90 people attended the program. 

Islamic Children’s Circle was started at Zenith Academy from 15 th  December 2013. The classes will be conducted every Sunday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The classes aim to provide the perfect platform for teenagers so that they become true Muslims and good citizens of the country. It also strives to provide an ideal atmosphere for children by   inculcating Islamic principles and values in them, so that they don’t deviate from the correct path and stay away from all evils. The classes consist of giving information, developing their skills and entertainment. 

One month campaign from 21 st  November to 20 th  December 2013 was conducted to create awareness about the various ill effects of Pornography on Students and Youth. A facebook page was made in this regard and we received close to 1000 likes. An article was also written on Pornography which was published in Young Muslim Digest, Radiance and Companion. A power point presentation was also made and uploaded on net to create awareness on the issue. Friday sermon was prepared and was distributed in more than 30 masjids which come under Pulikeshinagar Unit. A short film is also initiated in this regard.
