Yeshwanthpur and Pulakeshinagar Units of Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO)- Bangalore City reached out to hundreds of poor families in their respective areas and educated the masses regarding the Right To Education (RTE) Act.
Yeshwanthpur Unit covered more than 150 houses in Yeshwanthpur, JP Park, Mathikere and Jalahallai areas out of which 130 families were assisted in filling the forms respectively. Apart from this 70 families were assisted in making their income certificates.
On the other hand Pulakeshinagar Unit covered more than 100 houses in Saraipalya, Ashwathnagar and Thanisandra. An approximate of 70 families were assisted in filling the application forms.
The other units namely Shivajinagar, RT Nagar and Bangalore South covered more than 50 houses and filled around 30 application forms in Shivajinagar, Bharathi nagar, Vasanth nagar, Tilaknagar and Ilyas nagar.
