Unit Tarbiya meet

SIO Bangalore East as decided in their annual plan had organized a Bi-monthly Tarbiyati program of their Unit at Bift from 5.30pm  on 15th Match  Saturday to 8.00am  on 16th March  Sunday . Around 17 Members and Associates attended the program. The program began with a Talk on "Commercialization and Privatisation of Education" by Br. Shayan. It was followed by a discussion on "how to Improve our Unit", the suggestions included Renew our Jazba and dedication by revisiting the membership form and literature, face-to-face jaiza by UP etc. Later post maghrib Jb. Waheeduddin Khan sb Ameer, JIH, Blore Central spoke on "Are we giving its due Right". Dinner followed after Isha and then was a Quiz Competition organized by Br. Mudassir Razvi. Topics of Quiz were Quran, Seerah and General Knowledge. Post Quiz Br. Mudassir gave book review on "Way to Quran" by Khurram Murad. Talk on How to prepare for Exams and purpose of Education

SIO Bangalore East unit had organized Talks on "How to prepare for Exams and purpose of Education" as a part of their campaign "Facilitating Students to prepare for Exams. The talk were carried out in 3 different schools namely Danial Public School, Karnataka Genius and Genuine School and New Noble School. The talk mainly targeted Class 10 students preparing for their very first board exams. Br. Syed Adil, Br. Aftab and Br. Mohammed carried out the lectures. They emphasized that Education should be valued and not taken as mere burden. Also they gave the students tips on how to prepare and tackle exams well. They concluded by shedding some light on future perspectives the students can opt for. Around 150-170 students were addressed overall.

Tech4Change

SIO’s Bangalore City forum ‘Tech4Change’ developed a mobile based application to benefit students in huge numbers. It is designed to create an alternative study material which is helpful in revising the syllabus as it will be available at our finger tips. The SMS facility may work as a reminder for students at critical moments, anytime and anywhere. Reehan Lal Khan and Musaib Asrar (Software Engineers) have created this application.   The application was released by Syed Kazim (City President), Abdul Hamid(ZAC member), Ashfaq Ahmed (ZAC member), Ammar Mansoor (PR Secretary), Ejaz Fazal (Convener of the Forum) and Aqheel (Unit President – BTM Unit) on 2 nd March 2014. Campus lectures by SIO Yeswantpur

SIO Yeshwanthpur Unit organised by campus lecture(seminar) at M.S POLYTECHNIC Bangalore.  This was the first campus lecture(seminar) organised by Yeshwanthpur Unit in the year 2013-14. Brother Yaser Pasha from Yeswantpur unit briefed the audience about the activities of SIO . Brother Aqheel (Unit President, BTM Layout) presented a seminar on the topic "Purpose of Education". The session was concluded by Brother Salman from Yeswantpur unit. The program was attended by around 70 students. Audience also incuded HODs and faculty members from MS Polytechnic.

RTE Campaign by BTM Layout Unit

 SIO BTM unit organised a awareness program on RTE and door to door survey in BTM-Tavarkere, Gurappanpallya area, where in we provided information to people about RTE and distributed RTE forms to around 70+ eligible candidates. Many new associates also joined us and enthusiastically participated in the survey.
